An Efficient RFID Tag Search Protocol Based on Historical Information Reasoning for Intelligent Farm Management

چکیده

Due to the ability simultaneously interrogate multiple tags with a far operating distance, radio frequency identification (RFID) has been widely used in modern farms improve management efficiency. In smart farm applications, how quickly locate and search some specified items (e.g., animals) is critical problem, for which tag searching can be solve problem. While there are works on searching, they designed static objects cannot meet time efficiency requirements where searched animals’ movement brings challenges. this paper, we propose SHIR, an efficient tag-searching protocol based historical information reasoning, applied scenarios containing mobile that well handles existing protocols. By continuously counting difference between predicted reply signal actual received from rounds, SHIR avoids waste of slots achieves high Furthermore, it infer unverified status through speed up process. We further Enhanced (ESHIR) by filtering out interference query area avoid wasting verifying tags. Compared previous probabilistic approaches, gets accurate results no false positives. Extensive experimental show our best 42% compared the-state-of-art solution.

RSPAE: RFID Search Protocol based on Authenticated Encryption

Search protocols are among the main applications of RFID systems. Since a search protocol should be able to locate a certain tag among many tags, not only it should be secure against RFID threats but also it should be affordable. In this article, an RFID-based search protocol will be presented. We use an encryption technique that is referred to as authenticated encryption in order to boost the ...
